A little over a week ago I had the pleasure of shooting my beautiful aunt Caroline in an outfit I styled! Now my auntie isn’t the best when it comes to fashion (bless her heart) but she has enough sense to ask before she buys, unlike most people… smh… anywho she meet a new guy and they were going out on the town, she called and asked me to help her pick out an outfit and of course I said YES!! They were headed to a black and white party in Washington DC and she wanted to look her absolute best (what women wouldn’t want to right!?) So we headed to the local mall to find her knocked’m dead outfit! We found a dress at Bebe, a jacket at Wilson’s leather, accessories from Claire’s and shoes from Off Broadway all for a pretty reasonable price! She loved her outfit soooo much she wanted to do a shoot and I jumped like, “when tomorrow?!” lol! A few days after the party we found ourselves at the train tracks taking pictures. She was getting all kinds of hollers from every car that passed… everything from “work it girl” from the ladies to “whoo hoo yeah girl” from the men. It was flattering and hilarious at the same time! Everything was going great…until the cops showed up… Yeah I didn’t know you weren’t allowed to take pictures on train tracks..oops! But the cops were very nice about it (probably because of the outfit) and explained that we weren’t in any trouble, but the train company doesn’t want anyone getting hurt and I can understand that. Needless to say we got some pretty amazing shoots! Check them out!
I love when she smiles…..
My absolute FAVORITE pic 😀
And then the cops came… so we switched locations! 😉
Her son (my cousin) BamBam came along to help me out so I had him jump in a few shots….
Nothing like mommy kisses xoxo
Even though we almost got a ticket or possibly arrested, it was worth every minute! Thank you Caroline and Bambam for a wonderful experience…
