My cousin Kenni enjoying a cupcake ☺
For the past four years my girlfriends and I have our own Christmas party, it’s kind of like a potluck party really because we all chip in and bring something. This year it was hosted by my aunt and she did an absolutely fabulous job!!! We ate we sang we laughed we played Gestures we got a little tipsy played the white elephant game and laughed some more!! Here are some shots of us… Enjoy!
This photo was snapped at my brothers game, his team made it to the championship and he was so excited… until he got there. He didn’t play once, and honestly I don’t blame the coaches. Kids need to know things aren’t going to be given to them, they need to work hard and show the world they are worth being in the game!! So when he came up to me all sad faced I tried to explain to him that he plays around too much and doesn’t listen to his coaches; of course he wasn’t trying to hear that so I went another route and asked him who was the best player on the team and what made him so great. He gave me the typical answers “he’s really fast, he can catch, he can tackle, etc.” I then asked him if he thinks he was born that way or did he work hard for it, he scratched his head and said I guess he worked hard and I agreed. My brother is only 6 and very smart so I’m hopping our little talk sunk in… we’ll see… anywho here are the photos I took of him on the sideline… enjoy!
This post was influenced by one of my favorite rap artist J. Cole and his song Sideline Story….
I promise the title will make sense in a second lol!! If you follow me on twitter you would’ve seen me tweeting away about a contest my good friend Yvonne of Pink Dollhouse was giving and guess who was the prize… ME!!! One lucky winner got to get a free photo shoot with me, the lucky was Ms Ashley GaGa!!! She is what I’d like to call a blast in a tall glass!!! This beautiful girl is very funny, knowledgable, loves fashion, blogs and talks alot like me lol I wasn’t surprised that we bonded so fast!! She decided to do her shoot in DC around Chinatown, here are some of my favs from that day! Enjoy!!

Happy Holidays!!! This is my favorite time of year, I love being with family and friends, being jolly, eating of course lol, the lights, the decorations, just everything!! Started my morning off right with the Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade, coffee and something sweet lol!!!This year I spent Thanksgiving with both families, his in the early afternoon and mine that evening (we tend to party late at momas 😉 ) Thanksgiving was complete with friend turkey, all the sides, pumpkin, apple and pecan pie!! Here are some photos of myself and my family! Enjoy!!
I am kid free and proud of it lol but sometimes I’ll meet a kid that makes me want a little one sooner…
Meet baby Ian, isn’t he ADORABLE!!!! I photographed his 1st birthday last Sunday at Gymboree and had a BALL!!! I’ve never met a 1 year old that knew when to pose! Lol!! It was the cutest thing I’d seen in a while, alls I’d do was show him the previous picture and say “who’s that little cutie right there?!” and he’d smile and be ready for the next pic!! His mother Kitiya (who’s awesome btw) through him a circus themed party and I promise the only thing missing was the ring master and the animals!! She had everything from popcorn buckets filled to the top to animal crackers to gumball machines for each kid!! She did an amazing job and I really enjoyed capturing her family… here are some of my favorite photos from that day, enjoy!!

I snapped this photo on a beautiful October afternoon of my husband and my cousin Izzy strolling thru the pumpkin patch… I love catching people in the moment… some of my BEST photos are when people aren’t paying attention. Who know who he was talking to or what she was thinking but it made one great photo!! Enjoy and have a great weekend!!
