My cousin Kenni enjoying a cupcake ☺
This photo was snapped at my brothers game, his team made it to the championship and he was so excited… until he got there. He didn’t play once, and honestly I don’t blame the coaches. Kids need to know things aren’t going to be given to them, they need to work hard and show the world they are worth being in the game!! So when he came up to me all sad faced I tried to explain to him that he plays around too much and doesn’t listen to his coaches; of course he wasn’t trying to hear that so I went another route and asked him who was the best player on the team and what made him so great. He gave me the typical answers “he’s really fast, he can catch, he can tackle, etc.” I then asked him if he thinks he was born that way or did he work hard for it, he scratched his head and said I guess he worked hard and I agreed. My brother is only 6 and very smart so I’m hopping our little talk sunk in… we’ll see… anywho here are the photos I took of him on the sideline… enjoy!
This post was influenced by one of my favorite rap artist J. Cole and his song Sideline Story….
I am kid free and proud of it lol but sometimes I’ll meet a kid that makes me want a little one sooner…
Meet baby Ian, isn’t he ADORABLE!!!! I photographed his 1st birthday last Sunday at Gymboree and had a BALL!!! I’ve never met a 1 year old that knew when to pose! Lol!! It was the cutest thing I’d seen in a while, alls I’d do was show him the previous picture and say “who’s that little cutie right there?!” and he’d smile and be ready for the next pic!! His mother Kitiya (who’s awesome btw) through him a circus themed party and I promise the only thing missing was the ring master and the animals!! She had everything from popcorn buckets filled to the top to animal crackers to gumball machines for each kid!! She did an amazing job and I really enjoyed capturing her family… here are some of my favorite photos from that day, enjoy!!
I snapped this photo on a beautiful October afternoon of my husband and my cousin Izzy strolling thru the pumpkin patch… I love catching people in the moment… some of my BEST photos are when people aren’t paying attention. Who know who he was talking to or what she was thinking but it made one great photo!! Enjoy and have a great weekend!!
Baby Aumi with mommy and daddy ☺
Can I just say I am soooooo happy I rented this lens!! It’s definitely on my Christmas wish list… But knowing my hubby I’ll have it sooner then that 😉
I very rarely see my cousin Maliyah, so when she came downstairs to say hi I immediately grabbed the Canon and went to work in my aunts backyard!! Here are a few of my favorite shots I took while the sun was setting…enjoy 🙂
When your younger you have no idea how fast time flies, when you get older you see what all those “adults” use to say about how big kids can get in what feels like a short amount of time. It seems like only yesterday Ariana was a little girl kicking it with her mom, auntie and grandma, acting too grown!! She use to have me playing barbie dolls with her now she tells me all about her friends and how wells she does in school!! She has a funny personality like her mom and is a spitting image of her father, here is my lovely Ana… enjoy!
Her and the Mr being silly :p
